On Monday we started making a google drawing about our learning in Te Ngahere. We had to show what we were learning in writing, reading, maths, inquiry and art. We stated what we were learning in that subject and had to link some pieces of work related to that subject. After that was finished on Thursday we had to present it in front of our parents. For me it was pretty nerve racking but I got through it. Next time I want to be more confident.

Visiting The Treaty of Waitangi

On Tuesday last week the whole of Paihia School visited the Treaty of Waitangi. We played many many games that the Maoris used to do in the olden days. One game involved listening to your surroundings. The Maoris had to use this technique for hunting and defending. When there were animals or enemies they would hide and listen for any crackling in the trees or on the ground. This game was my favorite game that we played. Next year if we go I want to play this game again.
